Samuel Harry Williams, 91, of 138 New Woodruff Road, widower of Octavia Smith Williams, died May 8, 2015 at his home.

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, son of the late Charley and Eva Greer Williams, he was a retired U.S. Navy WWII Veteran, a former employee of Mayfair Mills and a member of Victor Baptist Church.

He was a mason and member of the Bailey Masonic Lodge #146.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Samuel Boyce Williams (Ann) of Taylors and Charles Stephen Williams of Greer; two grandchildren, Keith Williams (Casey) and Kevin Williams (Jennifer); and five great-grandchildren, Ansley, Brayden, Madelyn, Bennett and Emeli.

Mr. Williams was predeceased by two brothers, Buford Williams and Walter Williams and one sister, Clarese McCoy.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Victor Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Ken Vickery.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens with Military Honors.

Honorary escort will be Adult #3 Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

The families are at their respective homes.
