Sarah Lee McConnell Colman, 87, widow of Robert Gene Colman, Sr., passed away August 10, 2020.

A native of Jacksonville, Illinois, daughter of the late Robert "Doc" and Harriette McOmber McConnell, she was a former educator with the Illinois School District and attended First Presbyterian Church of Greer.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Gail Susan Highsmith of Greenville and Patricia Louise Torrey of Stillwater, Oklahoma; two stepsons, Robert Gene Colman, Jr. of Lancaster, California and Alan Dale Colman of Sun City, Arizona; and one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Patrick McConnell and Leilani Jayne Bidle of Silver Spring, Maryland; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Lee Byars Testa, Hannah Lea Baker, Grace Ann Baker, Abigail Lane Baker, Rachel Renie Baker, David Shirley, Dillon Highsmith, Bryan Colton Highsmith, and Jessica Lynne Highsmith; and several great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by one son, Charles Bryan Highsmith and one grandson, David Patrick Byars.

Funeral Services:

We will continue to celebrate her life each year on her birthday, March 12th.

The family will be at their respective homes.
