Shirley Ann Sitton Wade Cooley, 82, passed away on Sept. 11, 2018. Her first husband was the late Harold Eugene Wade, Sr.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Carl H. Sitton and Minnie Lee Andrews Sitton Lefler, she was a former employee of Cryovac; a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Additionally, she was an excellent gardener and loved flowers, was a talented self-taught pianist, and wonderful cook.
Surviving are her husband, Alford Ray Cooley of Greer; five sons, Harold Eugene Wade, Jr. (Debbie) of Greer, Tony Reginald Wade (Ruth) of Greer, Jeffrey Todd Wade (Michelle) of Greer, Greg Cooley (Amanda) of Mauldin and Scott Cooley (Tanya) of Georgia; two daughters, Sherrill Ann Wade Schaefer (Bruce) of Murrells Inlet and Debbie Wade Parham (Darrell) of Greer; one brother, Allen Dale Lefler of Myrtle Beach; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cooley was predeceased by two brothers, Lewy Sitton and Joe Sitton.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Tommy Kay and Rev. Terry King. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Friday at the mortuary.
