Shirley Mahaffey Waldrop, 73, widow of Larry A. Waldrop, passed away on February 27, 2019.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of Edith Waters Dean of Lyman and the late Thomas James Mahaffey, Sr., she was a retired employee of Tindall Corporation and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are nieces and nephews, Tracy Quinn (Robbie) of Lyman, Shane Blackwell (Leah) of Greer, Joni Mahaffey of Greer, Jay Mahaffey (Amanda) of Greer and George Mahaffey of Greer; several great-nephews; and a step-sister, Shirley Rambo of Inman.

Mrs. Waldrop was predeceased by two brothers, Michael Mahaffey and Thomas "Tommy"James Mahaffey, Jr.; one sister, Mary Sue Blackwell; one nephew, Todd Blackwell; and a special friend, Jack Thompson.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens conducted by Mr. Bill Parker.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of a niece, Tracy Quinn.
