Shirley Lynn Marquardt Sherbert, 71, of 2581 John Dodd Road, widow of Charles Lee Sherbert, died December 13, 2015 at her home.

A native of Elmhurst, Illinois, daughter of the late William and Ruth Vegter Marquardt, she was a homemaker and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Anne Sherbert and her fianc�, Trevis Pearman of Wellford and Debbie Segars and her husband, Steve of Simpsonville; a son, Charles Sherbert and his wife, Kathy of Simpsonville; one brother, Bill Marquardt of Illinois; four sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Lucille Colegrove, Lois Larkin and Sandy Bielarz all of Illinois; four grandchildren, Ashley Powell, Zack Powell, Brannon Roper and Robert Sherbert; and one great-grandson, Nolan Timothy Powell.

Mrs. Sherbert was predeceased by two sisters, Marilyn Marquardt and Jean Dornfield.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Scotty Burkhalter.

The family is at the home.
