Shirley Ann Cobb Leonard, 79, wife of Wirron H. Leonard, of 107 Woodvale Circle, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at her home.
A resident of Greer, she was born in Lyman, SC, a daughter of the late Fred W. and Lizzie Taylor Cobb, and a homemaker.
She was an active member for over fifty years of Memorial United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Camak Class and the Afternoon Circle.
In addition to her husband of fifty-two years, she is also survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Rev. Susan Leonard-Ray and her husband, Rev. Keith Ray II of Clemson and Amy Leonard of Greenville; three grandchildren, Rebecca, Jonathan and Elizabeth and a brother, Michael Cobb of Gaffney.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Truman and Dewey.
A service celebrating her life will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at Memorial United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Joseph Curtis, Rev. John Rush and Rev. George Strait.
Burial will be held in Wood Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. Monday at the church prior to the service.
Honorary escorts will be the Camak Class and the members of the Afternoon Circle of Memorial United Methodist Church.
