Marion Elrod "Sonny" Harrison, Jr., 72, died March 5, 2016 at the McCall Hospice
House.

A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late Marion E. Harrison, Sr. and Margie Rada Harrison, was an electrical designer with H2L Consulting Engineers, a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church, and a US Air Force veteran having served six years.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Judy Moseley Harrison of the home; two daughters, Melissa Ruth Harrison of Greer and Jessica Harrison Brown (Jeremy Chad) of Simpsonville; one son, Robert Keith Harrison of Seneca; one brother, John Benson Harrison of Greer; and four grandchildren, Magnolia Hope Brown, Furman James Brown, Hattie Ruth Brown, and Pruitt Grier Brown.

He was also predeceased by a son, Marion Craig Harrison.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Dr. Ralph Carter.

Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at the home.

The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Brushy Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 4999 Old Spartanburg Road, Taylors, SC 29687.
