Thomas Wayne Poole, 73, passed away August 17, 2020 after a courageous battle with ALS.

A native of Richmond, Virginia, son of the late Thomas Marion and Catherine Cauthen Poole, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired employee of Fluor and a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Joan White Poole of the home; a daughter, Tammie McKinney (Richie); two sons, Chris Poole and Erik Poole (Ashley); step-daughter, Lesley Williams (Brad); step-son, Josh Grant (Heather); grandchildren, Brad, Dustin and Carson McKinney, Lauren and Chandler Rollins, Blake and Cade Williams, and Collin, Nolan, Alex, Ebin and Turner Poole; and great-grandchildren, Halleigh-Catherine McKinney, Oakley and Langston Rollins, and Nora and Millie McKinney.

Funeral Services:

Due to social distancing, a private service will be held with webcasting available at www.thewoodmortuary.com 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
