Theodore "Teddy" William Campbell, 64, husband of Patricia Welchel Campbell, of 301 Weatherly Road, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at his home. Just four days prior to Teddy's home going, he was drawn to repentance, washed in the precious Blood of Jesus and thereby gloriously and eternally saved.
A native of Wheeling, West Virginia, he was a son of Dorothy Bailes Campbell of Taylors and the late Theodore Grover Campbell, a retired owner of Custom Counter Tops and attended Landrum Independent Baptist Church.
Surviving also are two sons, Scott Campbell, and his wife, Cindy of Greer and Brian Campbell of Inman; a daughter, Mary Ann Duncan and her husband Johnny of Travelers Rest; a brother, Dennis "Smiley" Campbell, Sr. and his wife, Darlene of Inman; and one grandchild, Walker Duncan.
He was predeceased by a sister, Linda Duncan.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at The Wood Mortuary chapel, conducted by Rev. Shane Jackson and Rev. Ray Hatcher. Burial will follow in Faith Temple Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
The family is at the home.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Campbell, Michael Campbell, Walker Duncan, Terry Brown, Derrick Welchel, Chuck Sparks, Michael Raines, and Arvil Hester.
