Thomas (Sonny) Jefferson Lanier, Jr., 68, of 315 Bright Road, died May 24, 2016 at Grenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Thomas Jefferson Lanier, Sr., and Louise Barbery Lanier, he was a retired employee of G.T.P. Inc., a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Donna Wasson Lanier of the home; one daughter, Christen Langford (Alvin) of Greer; three sons, Thomas David Lanier (Candace) of Pickens, Joshua Seth Lanier (Melissa) of Greer and Michael Chad Lanier (Sarah) of Inman; one sister, Vickie Owings of West Palm Beach, Florida and fourteen grandchildren.

Mr. Lanier was predeceased by two sisters, Vivian Massey and Connie Lanier.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Camp Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Shannon McKee and Rev. William Porter.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites.

Visitation will be held 1:30-2:45 p. m. Saturday at Camp Creek Baptist Church.

The family is at the home of the daughter, Christen Langford, 4265 N. Blue Ridge Drive, Greer, SC 29651.
