Vallie Juanita Farmer Brewton, 74, of Greer, died December 30, 2012 at her home.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Tollie Edgar and Hattie Evington Farmer, she was a retired employee of Greenville County School District and a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Ray Nelson Brewton of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Mark Hempel of Greer; a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lisa Brewton of Greer; two brothers, Morris Farmer and Donald Farmer both of Greer; three sisters, Wavie Lee Turner, Peggy Fowler and Velma Farmer all of Greer; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held after the service in the church fellowship hall.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Michelle Hempel, 605 Mattie Lane, Greer.
