Walker "Papa" Wiley Hannah, 77, widower of Cathie L. Smith Hannah, died July 12, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Hannah was a native of Greenville County, the son of the late John Ervin and Nancy Corene Dill Hannah and a lifetime member of Fairview Baptist Church. He was a member of Taylors Masonic Lodge No. 345. Papa Walker was an outdoorsman with a love for life, faith, family and his beloved dog, Foxy.
Surviving:
Surviving are two sons, Jeff Hannah (D'Anne) of Taylors and Phil Hannah (Kathy) of Taylors; one daughter, Vickie Hart (Ronnie) of Simpsonville; one sister, Johnnie Hannah Henderson of Greer; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Eddie Leopard. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Honorary escort will be his grandchildren and the James Crocker Sunday School class.
Visitation will be held 2:00-3:45 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Baptist Church.
The family is at the home.
