Walter William Acrey, 90, widower of Annie Sue Acrey, died April 29, 2014 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

A native of Franklin County, Georgia, son of the late Noah H. and Ethel Morgan Acrey, he was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens and a member of Greer Church of God.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, James W. Acrey of Pataskala, Ohio and Ronald Gene Acrey, Sr. of Greer; a brother-in-law, William M. Moon of Toccoa, Georgia; three grandchildren, Paula Huntley, Rodney Acrey and Ronald Gene Acrey, Jr.; 6 great-grandchildren; and two special nieces, Doris and Elaine Acrey.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Greer Church of God, conducted by Rev. Stewart Anderson and Rev. Bobby Duncan.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
