Wayne Houston Cox, 85, of 1 Hoke Smith Blvd., widower of Maebeth Morgan Cox, died November 3, 2015.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Clyde Stevens and Lorene Poole Cox, he served in the U.S. National Guard for 14 years, retired from textile management and was a member of Greer First Baptist Church.

Mr. Cox loved camping and fishing.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son, Steven Cox of Greer; a daughter, Nancy Cox of Greer; a brother, Jim Cox of Greer; two grandchildren, Melissa Dellinger and Kylie Kilby; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

A memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Dr. Rick Ezell.

Visitation will be held 1:00-1:45 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.

The families are at their respective homes.
