William Ronald "Ronnie" Allison, 88, passed away August 23, 2021.

A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late William Ralph and Addie
Lou Stephens Allison.

Mr. Allison graduated from The University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, retired as Lt. Colonel with the U.S. Air Force, and was the former owner and President of Tri-State Chemical.

He was a lifetime member of the United States Jaycees, 20-year member of Lyman Town Council, 16-year member of Spartanburg Regional Medical Center Board, served on the Advisory Board with United Carolina Bank and was a lifetime member of University of South Carolina Gamecock Club.

He was a member of First Baptist Lyman, a Mason, and a Shriner.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Rita Nichols Allison of the home; a daughter,
Katina Degler (Ron) of Lyman and a member of Lyman United Methodist Church;
a sister, Shelba Geddis of Lyman; three grandchildren, Nic Degler, Jake Degler
and Wren Degler; a niece, Rhonda Wood (Greg) of Lyman; and a brother-in-law,
Randall Nichols (Martha) of Wellford.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021, at First Baptist Lyman conducted by Rev. Bill Morris, Odell Zachary, Danny Smith, and Jim Benson with livestreaming available on First Baptist Lyman Facebook page.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Ron Degler, Greg Wood, Jeff Burnette, Tim Sloan, Nic Degler,
Jake Degler, Marty Allison, and Patrick Burnette.

Honorary escorts will be the Bethany Sunday School Class and the Adult 5 Men?s
Sunday School Class of First Baptist Lyman.

Visitation will be held after the service at the cemetery.

The family is at the home.

Lyman, South Carolina 29365 or First Baptist Lyman, 80 Groce Road, Lyman,
South Carolina 29365.

The family respectfully request that mask be worn at the service.
