Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and the Carolina Panthers reported to training camp at Wofford College Wednesday.
Also Wednesday, the Panthers signed safety Kurt Coleman to a three-year contract extension. Coleman is now under contract with Carolina through the 2019 season.
In 2015, Coleman’s first season with Carolina, he led the Panthers and tied for third in the NFL with career-high seven interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown.
The team will begin practice Thursday at Wofford College at Gibb’s Stadium from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
The Panthers Kickoff Party will begin at 4 p.m. at Gibbs Stadium before the first training camp practice on Thursday. Performances by the Panthers cheerleaders, mascot Sir Purr and football kid’s games will be played. Admission is free.
The training camp is Thursday through Aug. 16. Every practice is free and open to the public.
