It was more than a dream come true for the Dorman Cavaliers.

Dorman became only the second team to practice with a National Football League team – the Spartanburg Vikings were the first last year – at the Carolinas Panthers summer camp at Wofford College today.

Dorman’s 6-foot-5, 280-pound lineman Jordan McFadden was called “one big dude” by Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson.

Panthers players, interspersed with Dorman, during stretching and warm-up exercises, were trying to coax some Cavaliers to dance with them. No Cavaliers joined them.

The teams split onto separate fields after early drills and came together after the Panthers end of practice scrimmage.
