Pelham Medical Center’s investment as title sponsor of the 30th annual Greer Family Fest is better than free for this weekend’s thousands of visitors– it’s an opportunity to get valuable screenings, learn about the Gibbs Cancer Center Research Institute at Pelham, and an opportunity to meet doctors from various practices.
The Gibbs Health Institute (GHI) is a national initiative announced Tuesday that is projected to revolutionize the way clinical cancer trials are done and how personalized medicine is delivered in the community setting.
A “Mash Unit” will be on the City Park lawn with Emergency Center games and information.
Three are three separate schedules for festivalgoers to visit and have virtually any question answered and screenings from blood pressure, body mass index, nutrition, diabetes and skin cancer.
