On June 20 at approximately 2 p.m., an attempted purse snatching took place in the Walmart parking lot located at 14055 E Wade Hampton Blvd.
The victim stated that a white female, approximately 20-25 approached her and asked her for help because she needed gas. The victim told her that she was unable to help and then she walked away to return her cart.
The subject began to walk away but then returned and attempted to grab the victim’s purse. The victim held on to the purse until the subject ran away. The subject was viewed entering a white four-door sedan.
A total of four white females were captured in security footage received from Walmart. The four females were together and entered the same vehicle after attempting to take the victim’s purse. See additional images below.
