Ridge Purvis displays his state award after he finished runnerup in the state wrestling tournament.
Ridge Purvis, competing in the heavyweight division for 8 and under, earned enough top three finishes to collect puzzle pieces, via his top three tournament finishes.
Purvis traveled South Carolina competing in all the South Carolina Youth Wrestling Association's (SCYWA) regional tournaments. Purvis finished state runner up at the tournament in Lexington (March 10).
