I’ve attached this picture of the salad I made for lunch Sunday. The radish was the perfect shape of a heart to remind me that love can come in the shape of a healthy lunch/dinner for you and the ones you cherish.

Holy fat grams.

Thank goodness Monday is here, I rarely say that, but if you think about being snowed in your house for a few days, and then marching straight into Valentine’s weekend . . . I can't even think about the temptations that were out there for you and me.

If you stayed on track, fabulous. If you didn't, Monday and the warm week ahead is a great time to get your mind “ready, set, go” because spring is around the corner.

We will not be able to hide under the bulky sweaters and huge overcoats, so please read on page 2 the tip from Dr. Andersen and get active if you aren't already.

Walking is the perfect way to get outside and burn some calories. I love the quote for today, we can and we must, for a skinnier and healthier you.

Quote of the day

“To accomplish great things we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe.”
