The Riverside High School Speech and Debate Booster Club’s annual Radio Play will be held Dec.12 at 6:30 p.m. The event is one its major fund raising efforts for the year. All the money to attend tournaments is raised by team members and the booster club.
The Radio Play is an old-fashioned radio production featuring Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and other tales of the season. Tickets are $5 and available from speech and debate team members or at the door on the night of the performance.
In its latest competition, the RHS Speech and Debate Club attended the Patriot Games at George Mason University recently and earned 2nd place from a field of more than 200 of the top speech and debate schools in the country.
