Riverside boys wins 2nd straight in tournament

Riverside beat Blythewood 76-72 in the Linberg Moody Holiday Basketball Classic at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill on Saturday.

Myles Smith scored a game-high 30 points to lead Riverside. Teammates Allen Caldwell, 17 points, and Boe Seppela, 13, matched Smith’s total.

Riverside, 2-1 in the tournament, will play in a consolation final Monday.

Riverside is 7-2 overall.

Riverside 64, Allendale Fairfax 48 – Riverside squared its record to 1-1 in the Classic Friday. The Warriors beat Allendale Fairfax, 64-48, and advanced to a consolation game Saturday against Blythewood.

Riverside, 6-5, was led by Allen Caldwell with 15 points, Boe Seppala with 14 and Myles Smith with 11 points.
