Riverside falls to Boiling Springs

STAFF REPORTS
Published on Saturday, October 3, 2015

Riverside executed an onside kick to begin the game at Boiling Springs Friday night and that was about the highlight of the evening for the Warriors.

One year after Riverside scored a stunning overtime win over Boiling Springs, that was put well in the past by the end of the game.

Boiling Springs recorded a 52-0 win over Riverside in the Region II-AAAA game. Riverside is winless after six games and Boiling Springs is 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the Region. The Warriors are 0-2 in the region.

The Warriors have only scored 16 points this season to their opponents 283. It doesn’t get any easier next week when Byrnes plays at Riverside.

Najee Thompson scored on a 2-yard run, and quarterback Mason Streater tossed three touchdowns passes – two to Travalas Massey and another to Michael Bollinger.
