About the game:  

Riverside was mourning the death of a fellow student/athlete last week and its usual enthusiasm and intensity was missing. QB Ryan Cerino said the team had a good week of practice.

Spartanburg won final 5 games since its loss to Byrnes 45-41 on Oct. 2.  Spartanburg has scored 273 points for a 54.6 points per game average during the win streak.
