Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce
Emily Crowley was awarded a $500 scholarship this afternoon at the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce. Her mother, Debbie, and father, Andy, attended the ceremony. Mitsubishi Polyester Film, Inc., annually donates a scholarship to a Junior Leadership Greer graduate.
Crowley, Senior Class President, will attend the College of Charleston and major in International Studies with an emphasis on environmental studies. “I’m interested in getting into a non-profit and helping the environment,” Crowley said.
Mark King, vice chairman of the chamber’s Leadership Development made the presentation. “Any time you can get more scholarship money into the fund is good,” King said.
Mitsubishi Polyester Film, Inc., annually donates a scholarship to a Junior Leadership Greer graduate.
Crowley’s parents, Andy and Debbie, attended the ceremony.
