Sandusky splits matches in North-South tournament

Kylie Sandusky of Greer High School finished her high school career with a split at the North-South tennis tournament Saturday in Greenville.

 

Greer's Kylie Sandusky split her matches in the North-South Tennis Classic Saturday at the Greenville Kroc Center.

The South beat the North, 5-4.

Sandusky, playing No. 2 singles lost to Rachel Berkey of Myrtle Beach, 7-6 (8) and 6-4.  

Sandusky teamed with Marissa Trumbull of Belton-Honea Path to win their No. 1 doubles match over Rachel Berkey (Myrtle Beach) and Grayson Elms (West Florence) 8-5.

The North-South tournament ends Sandusky's sterling high school career.

No. 1, Rachel Gresko (South, Socastee) def. Marissa Trumbull (Belton-Honea Path)  6-4, 7-5.

No. 2, Rachel Berkey (South, Myrtle Beach) def. Kylie Sandusky (Greer)  7-6(8), 6-4.

No. 3, Grayson Elms (South, W. Florence) def. Megan Parke (Greenville) 6-2, 6-2.

No. 4, Kate Cram (South, Hilton Head Island) def Elizabeth Collins (J.L. Mann) 6-0, 6-2.

No. 5, Corey Brom (North, Clover) def. Justine Wilson (Bluffton) 6-3, 6-4.

No. 6, Emma Tutman (North, Southside Christian) def. Maegan Milligan (Green Sea Floyds) 6-0, 6-2.

Doubles

No. 1,Trumbull/Sandusky (North) def. Berkey/Elms  8-5.

No. 2, Gresko/Cram (South) def. Parke/Collins  8-2.

No. 3 Brom/Tutman/ (North) def. Milligan/Wilson  8-1.
