Santa Claus has texted GreerToday.com his confirmation for tonight’s Greer Christmas tree lighting and his appearance at breakfast Saturday morning (limited tickets here) at the Cannon Centre.

Text from Santa: "Confirmed for Greer USA tree lighting and breakfast."

City Park is all dressed up for the Christmas tree lighting and festivities, merchants have decorated their storefront windows and their stores are fully stocked for the most wonderful time of the year.

The weather appears to be cooperating with no rain forecast for this evening and Sunday for the Greer Christmas parade. Santa’s sleigh has GPS capabilities to maneuver low clouds.

The GreerToday.com staff will be at all of the Greer Christmas activities. You are welcome to pose for our team of photographers.
