Stores, restaurants open on Christmas Day
Traveling or not there are some stores and enough restaurants, mostly national chains, open to satisfy a lot of Americans who prefer the growing number of no-muss-no-fuss tradition of dining out. The stores that are open are mostly combination pharmacy and quick in-and-out stores.

The caveat for all people is to check with your local stores and restaurants for hours opened. Most will be on a shorter schedule.

STORES OPEN

QT: Open Christmas Day.

Spinx: Open Christmas Day.

RESTAURANTS OPEN

Denny’s: All locations will be open.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Some are open Christmas Day, hours vary by location.

Golden CorralOpen Christmas Day.

Hooter’s: Open Christmas Day: 4 p.m.-midnight.

Huddle House: Open Christmas Day.

IHOPMost locations open every day.

McDonald'sDon’t be so sure. Franchisees may open with reduced hours.

Macaroni Grill: Open Christmas Day.

Panda Express: Open but check hours.

Ruth's Chris Steak HouseRuth's Chris will be open on Christmas Day starting at noon.

Ryan’s: open 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Shoney’s: Some are open Christmas Day.

Starbucks: Most open Christmas Day, hours vary by location.

Waffle HouseCount on it 24/7, 365 days a year. Hurricanes and blizzards can’t stop some from closing.
