Standout Riverside High School golfer Will Strickland has signed to continue his sport at Presbyterian College.

Strickland is entering his sixth year as a varsity golf team member. He joins Jason Parketon and Bill Haas as the only Riverside golfers who played six years.

"Will has played in our top five golf spots since the 8th grade and is projected to be the number one golfer on the team this year," said Sam Oates, golf coach.

Strickland plays golf year round, also participating in AJGA and SCJGA tournaments as well as the high school season in the spring. He has been on two Greenville County championship teams and a Region II-AAAA championship.

Strickland and his teammates have competed in the state tournament the past four years.
