Take a walk and see what horses, riders see for first time in a competition
Update: Due to the weather, the walk has been rescheduled for Thursday at the same time.

Here’s idea for a pleasant walk for all generations and kids.

The Tryon International Equestrian Center will have Eric Dierks, a trainer and competitor, tell you how the horses and riders navigate the advanced cross-country tracks during a free walk Thursday. The walk begins at 3:30.

Dierks will explain what the horses see through their eyes for the first time and how riders plan ahead for a safe, effective round.

Meet at White Oak Estate at 3 p.m.

This is a preview of competition scheduled through the weekend at the TIEC. All events are free to the public.

Visit www.tryon.com or call 828-863-1000 for more information on Tryon International Equestrian Center & Tryon Resort.
