Dayquan Nesbitt died at the scene, at W. Wade Hampton Blvd. between Dill and Buncombe Road, according to Greenville County Coroner Parks Evans.
The accident happened at 10:30 a.m. Nesbitt was wearing his seatbelt and his death was caused by multiple traumatic injuries, according to Parks.
Power was out in the area for a short time.
The Greer Police Department and the coroner's office are investigating the accident.
