Miss Ann Braylo’s and Mrs. Susan Fincher’s Washington Center classes have been participating in a variety of classroom projects to encourage teamwork and positive character traits.

Students have been taking turns and practicing getting along with others while participating in computer and small group activities. Both classes have enjoyed interacting with others in various environments such as the classroom, school, and community.

The classes read the book, "The Crayon Box That Talked" by Shane DeRolf. The culminating activity for the unit was making a crayon box hall display to demonstrate how individuals work together to make a team.
