The Cazbah at 308 Trade Street is closed for the holidays with its future in Greer tenuous.

The restaurant posted signage two weeks ago it would be closed Nov. 19-23, apologizing for the inconvenience. However, all wine and liquor has been removed and furnishings moved to the front of the restaurant.

An associate at the downtown Greenville who asked for anonymity, restaurant told GreerToday.com, “We’ve been told the Greer restaurant has been closed for corporate restructuring. It may reopen in March.”

All reference to the Greer Cazbah has been removed from the restaurant's website with text reading “The Cazbah in downtown Greer, SC is CLOSED.”
