Mayor Rick Danner celebrated more than the birth of our country during the 21st annual July 4th parade. Danner and his wife, Rita, introduced their first grandchild, Ruby.
Anne and Jacob Danner are the parents of Ruby.
The annual parade has become a celebration of some of the city’s high profile personalities introducing their grandchildren to their first parade. Four years ago, then fire chief Chris Harvey drove a vintage and refurbished 1941 Chevy Southern fire truck with his four-month-old grandson, Jackson and James, 2, with parents Dustin and Amy Harvey Strom.
The 2019 parade around the Arlington-Cleveland neighborhood will be Thursday, July 4 at 10 a.m.
