The film, "Unconditional Surrender", will be shot in the Upstate in 2017.
Grace Hall will the host venue for the movie event.
"We lose 22 soldiers a day to suicide due to PTSD and you and I can be part of the solution." stated Terry. "Unconditional Surrender will focus on a soldier's return home to his family, and the battles he struggles with returning to a normal' life."
Terry, his wife, and local business owners Scott and Lindsay Stevens are hosting a free informational dinner this Thursday at Grace Hall in downtown Greer.
The dinner will be catered by local favorite, Laurenda's Catering, and will feature a program designed to introduce the film to attendees. "We will hear from an organization that works directly with veterans battling PTSD, and how they feel the film will bring awareness and healing to families facing similar struggles," Terry said. Many Veterans will be in attendance.
A presentation for the movie will be shown as well, and Terry answer questions from the audience about the film. Opportunities to support the film through donations will also be presented. Attire will be casual.
Additionally, all attendees will be entered for a chance to win one of three featured extra roles in the film. The winners will get to spend time on the set and with the actors, see their names in the credits, and be featured in the film.
