Vehicle hits power pole, traffic blocked on Brushy Creek

A vehicle hit a power pole that brought down power lines on Brushy Creek Road Wednesday.

 

A vehicle ran off the road Wednesday striking a power pole that caused a power outage for nearby residences and businesses at Brushy Creek Road near Suber Road. Brushy Creek Road traffic was blocked for a short time.

Greer Police officers worked the scene while Duke Power responded to repair the power lines.

The traffic lights at the intersection of West Wade Hampton Blvd., and West Poinsett Street were reportedly not functioning at the same time for an unknown reason, according to the GPD.
