Greer State Bank employees, in honor of Veterans Day, prepared and distributed 160 gift bags for veterans.

Each gift bag contained a MoonPie, RC Cola, a box of Cracker Jack and a personalized hand-written note of thanks

“Far too often we don’t take the time to say thank you to the men and women who have served our country,” said Melody Owens, public relations manager for the bank.

“At Greer State Bank, we are a family. Because of that, it’s important to let those you care about know they are appreciated. The gift bags our team prepared serve only as a small token of our gratitude to those who sacrificed so much for our freedom,” said Owens.
