Village Hospital Meeting Room One

Nicotine Anonymous is a weekly support group dedicated to those who have a desire to stop using tobacco. This casual meeting is free and open to the public. No registration is required. For more information, call the Joe R. Utley Heart Resource Center at 864-560-4472.

Mobile Mammography Unit Dates

Women are invited to schedule appointments for mammograms on Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s mobile mammography unit at the following locations by calling 864-560-7999. Please bring your insurance card and identification to your appointment.

Medical Weight Loss Information Session

This free session provides in-depth information about the Spartanburg Regional Hospital System medical weight loss programs, including the new Rapid Weight Loss plan, Healthy Lifestyles plan and the 9-and 18-week Optifast plans. Safe Kids Car Seat Inspection

Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health Parking Lot

Safe Kids Spartanburg urges parents and caregivers to make sure their child safety seats are properly installed in their vehicles at the Safe Kids Inspection Station. Safe Kids will have certified child passenger safety technicians available to provide hands-on instruction on installing car seats and booster seats. Please call 560-6845 to make an appointment.

Cancer Survivors Day

Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium

Gibbs Cancer Center is hosting its annual Cancer Survivors Day. This free event includes food, music and dance. All cancer survivors are invited to attend with their caregiver.

Express Yourself: A Creative Grief Workshop for Kids

The loss of a loved one leads to emotional trauma for anyone no matter what the age group. Children, however, are most at risk for long-term psychological harm especially if they do not have strong support groups behind them. Join the creative Express Yourself group for kids 6-12, where friendships, feelings, and creativity come together.
