It was a festival-like atmosphere and turnout at the “Vintage Market at the Park” Saturday.

Vintage, handmade and repurposed items were offered by more than 35 vendors at Greer City Park along the promenade.

Organizer Wanda Garcia assembled the inaugural “Vintage Market” in the fall of 2013. She has planned for a spring and fall event this year.

Hundreds of shoppers bought merchandise Saturday and was only interrupted by a rain shower in the afternoon. It chased some people to their vehicles to protect their goods from the rain.
