Wade Hampton defeats Riverside boys

The Riverside Warriors lost to Wade Hampton, 70-54, in a boys basketball game at Riverside High School Friday evening.

Wade Hampton got 32 points from the duo of Preston Parks (18) and Michael Wiper (14) to beat host Riverside at the Warriors gymnasium Friday. Alan Caldwell scored 19 points for Riverside to record a game-high scorer and teammate Kameron  Small added 13 points.

Riverside falls to 6-12 overall. The Warriors are at Gaffney on Tuesday night in its next game. Wade Hampton is 13-4 overall and plays at Boiling Springs on Tuesday.
