The Washington Center School  has begun in Jean Ashmore's class studying the letters of the alphabet, beginning with the letter "A."
Lessons about airplanes began with an activity that involved students making paper airplanes and propelling them with the use of a rubber band.  Students pretended to be astronauts with imaginary visits to outer space in a rocket ship.  Silly animals were drawn and shaded first in the actual color, and then with silly colors. The last weekly activity was looking at patterns with fruit and then turning an apple into apple sauce.
