Ms. Elizabeth Piper’s class and two other classes from Washington Center went to the Children’s Museum in downtown Greenville.

The classes were granted the accessibility school scholarship program providing funding assistance for admission.

The students had been studying about the food groups, magnets and electricity, along with probability and charts. All of the topics came alive through exploration at the facility.

The classes were able to review and apply what they had learned to the variety of corresponding activities. The Children’s Museum has three floors with 18 exhibits which are interactive and encouraged the students to discover the educational features in each exhibit.
