Addison Homes has hired Tyler Whims as project manager overseeing construction of the company’s properties and focusing on schedule, budget, contractors, materials and site management.
“Tyler brings both youthful enthusiasm and entrepreneurial experience to our team,” said Addison Homes President Todd Usher. “At age 13 he founded his own lawn service company and grew it into a thriving business that he managed throughout his high school and college years. Tyler’s proven can-do spirit and customer-oriented focus will be true assets as we build in Trailside, our new home community adjacent to the Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail.”
Whims graduated Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science & Management and a minor in Business Administration. He also holds OSHA certification. He previously worked as an operations and maintenance specialist at Fluor.
Whims volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and participates in motorcycle-related events to benefit Toys for Tots.
