Kody Young and Shelby Alford have been eliminated from Greer Idol following their patriotic performances Saturday at the Greer Freedom Blast.

That means only eight singers remain for the grand prize of $2,000 to be awarded the top performer on July 22.

The Carolina Coast Band will perform sets, at 7 and 9 p.m. with Greer Idol performers singing at 8 p.m. Greer Idol singers perform to their own theme this week.
