The players quickly deplaned to board buses for the caravan back to Clemson.

From those small cabbage whites to the largest swallowtails, there are thousands of unique and beloved butterfly species on the planet. Many of us see them outside every day in the spring and summer, but how much do you know about these colorful insects?
Here are 10 fascinating facts to consider next time you cross a butterfly's path.

When hosting neighbors and friends for spring gatherings, your thoughts may dwell on accommodating guests. But how often do you consider your animal visitors?
All right, people. You know I love hamburgers. Like, so, so much. The burger is the apex of American civilization. I follow six Brazilian hamburger makers on Instagram, because I love to see how the red-white-and-blue has blessed the world; not with the roll of stirring drums, but with deeds of hamburger the American kingdom comes.
The kingdom of hamburger is alive and well in the town of Greer, South Carolina, the place where I reside. I live only a few blocks from Trade Street, where downtown Greer's 2.5 blocks are stretched out. Every week I carve out time to do some work downtown, hanging out at Stomping Grounds Coffee Shop or Cameroon Cigars. When I break for lunch I have several options within eyesight of my chosen office of the day, and most of them serve burgers worth mentioning.

Ever wonder what it's like to be a Greer High School football player on Friday night?
The bright lights, enthusiastic crowd, "2001: A Space Odyssey" reverberating through the loud speakers, and billowing smoke welcome the players and coaches as they parade through the grandstands minutes before the start of the game at Dooley Field. It is arguably one of the coolest entrances in high school football.
The Yellow Jackets Sports Network, for the past 25 years, has committed its Friday nights to bringing the sounds of Greer High School football to its followers one play at a time.
Robbie Gravley, Chad Lister, and Van Brannon, in 1990, went live on the radio and a new tradition in Greer was born. They have added more local talent along the way picking up Steven "Worm" Gay, Bryan "Red" Watson, and David Holtzclaw but continued with the traditional play-by-play calls, coaches and players interviews and halftime reports.
Here are some of my favorite foods to grill that are away from traditional meats and vegetables.
1. CHEESE: Provolone or halloumi, when seared on each side, adds extra flavor to that cheese and fruit tray when entertaining.
Memorial Day is the first holiday of the year that brings out our inner professional griller. I love to grill but we have our favorites and it is time consuming to experiment with new sauce recipes during the busy week.
Holidays and summer vacations with family and friends challenge us, though, to be creative and step up our grilling game.
It’s that time of year when outdoor grilling makes its debut. May is considered grilling month and over Memorial week the highest volumes of grills are sold.
When considering which meal to prepare on the grill, don't be scared to try out some fun and easy vegetable recipes as well. Fresh corn in the husks will impress your guests and keep the menu light and colorful. Corn in the husks or in aluminum foil can be prepared easily in less than 35 minutes.
