Cops for Tots tourney is Oct. 8, Clardy Law Firm is title sponsor

The Greer Police Department’s Cops for Tots Golf tournament is Oct. 8 at Greer Country Club. The format is captain's choice with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m.
The police department is inviting companies, businesses and individuals to sponsor 4-member teams ($350), holes ($100), door prizes and other possibilities.
Greer Community Ministries needs school supplies for children

Greer Community Ministries is in need of school supplies to help fill school supply orders.
Applications for school supply assistance began today and clients will be given a date to return for those supplies during the first week of the application process. Supplies are needed to fill all the orders that have already been taken.
Dancers headed to Macy's Parade schedule fundraisers
