AAA Carolinas is providing tips for spotting vehicle flooding for Carolinians returning to their property after evacuating for Hurricane Florence.
“Thankfully, the water is beginning to recede in many areas across the Carolinas, but that can be deceiving to those returning to their homes for the first time who may think their cars were not affected in the heavy rainfall when in reality, they may have been,” said Tiffany Wright, AAA Carolinas spokesperson.
A $30 million cargo facility is being built at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport that will bring a significant increase in cargo, jobs and will be able to accommodate several large aircraft at the same time.
The 110,000-square-foot warehouse and 13-acre cargo ramp are scheduled to open in the spring of 2019. It will be able to accommodate three Boeing 747-800 aircraft simultaneously.
The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce adds two new members to its team. Mark King joins the organization as interim president/CEO and Josh Shaffer will join the Chamber as director of membership development.
A former chairman of the board of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce, King will serve as acting chief executive officer while the Chamber’s selection committee searches for a permanent successor. King is a graduate of Charleston Southern University and Southeastern Seminary. He is certified in QuickBooks software, and started his own business, King Consulting, in 2005.
