Jimmy Chulkus laughed out loud while leaning back in a booth at the Clock Restaurant on Poinsett Street.
“Two hot dogs, French fries and a tea! A big ice tea! To go!”
Chulkus was in mid-sentence talking about Lonnie “Gee” McGee when he paused, busted out laughing again and repeated the phrase.
That was Gee’s standard order when he came for dinner at Clock Restaurant.
Larry Wilson, chairman of Partnership for Tomorrow, will be the Grand Marshal of the Greer Christmas Parade.
Wilson and his wife, Linda, will lead the parade through Greer on Sunday Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m.
Registration for the Greer Christmas Parade, scheduled Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m., is open.
Greer Relief, the beneficiary and organizer of the parade, is accepting entries received or postmarked by Wednesday, Nov. 25 to avoid a late fee.
