Enoree man receives 15-year prison sentence for child sex abuse

Jimmy R. Haney, 45, pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal sexual conduct and dissemination of obscene material to a minor.

An Enoree man received a 15-year prison sentence Wednesday for performing sexual acts on a child and sharing an adult video with his victim.

Jimmy R. Haney, 45, pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal sexual conduct and dissemination of obscene material to a minor. The defendant will serve 80 percent of Circuit Judge Mark Hayes’ prison sentence before he is eligible for release. He will also have his name added to the Sex Offender Registry.

Errika Shelton received a 13-year prison sentence today for evading police and causing a fatal wreck that claimed the life of her 7-year-old daughter.

A Spartanburg mother received a 13-year prison sentence today for evading police and causing a fatal wreck that claimed the life of her 7-year-old daughter.

Errika D. Shelton, 27, pleaded guilty to failure to stop for a blue light with a death involved, habitual traffic offender with a death, reckless homicide, child neglect, driving under suspension third or subsequent offense and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Boiling Springs man receives 40-year sentence for sniper shootings

Bryan M. Holder, 21, was found guilty of two counts of first-degree assault and battery, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. 

A Boiling Springs man received a 40-year prison sentence Thursday for using a stolen rifle to shoot an innocent customer at a local convenience store and narrowly miss two innocent bystanders.

Bryan M. Holder, 21, was found guilty of two counts of first-degree assault and battery, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. He pled guilty to grand larceny and malicious injury to personal property before the start of the trial.

Lyman man receives 15-year prison sentence for child abuse

Jacob A. Shattuck, 22, pleaded guilty to child abuse with great bodily injury. He will serve 80 percent of Circuit Judge Derham Cole’s prison sentence before he is eligible for release.
